NO2ID succesfuly stopped the introduction of ID cards and in addition to winning Liberty’s ‘Long Walk’ human rights award, was described by Cabinet Minister Damian Green as “one of the most successful pressure groups in history“. James is an expert in privacy campaigning, and as an elected Councillor has an in-depth experiencing of local authority politics. He is author to the Political Valley blog and one of Phoenix Campaigns’ partners.

After graduating from the University of Leeds Rory worked for a number of years as a campaigns organiser for the Liberal Democrats on European, Parliamentary and local campaigns. Rory specialises in literature design & developing hyper-localised campaign techniques.
